Terms of Use

Last updated: October 28, 2026

These terms apply to the Star Player app and the website starplay.app (together, the “Service”), operated by the operator of starplay.app. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. A player, not a content service

Star Player is a media player. It does not provide, host, sell, recommend or link to any channels, playlists, films, series or other content, and no content is included with the app or with a purchase. You add content yourself, from your own provider.

You may use the Service only with content that you are legally allowed to access, from providers that are authorized to distribute it to you. You are solely responsible for the playlists and provider details you add and for the content you play.

2. Your device code

Each device gets a code that lets anyone who knows it add or change the playlist for that device on starplay.app. Keep it to yourself. If someone else changed your playlist, contact support.

3. Free trial and license

4. Payments and refunds

Purchases in the app are processed by Google Play under Google Play’s terms, and Google Play’s refund policies apply. Purchases on starplay.app are paid by card through Stripe or with cryptocurrency through CryptAPI; the seller is the operator named above, who issues the invoice. For a cryptocurrency payment the amount is set in the chosen coin when you place the order; send it on the network shown, as payments sent with another coin or network, or below the minimum shown, cannot be credited. If Star Player does not work on your device, contact us within 14 days of a web purchase for a refund. A refunded purchase no longer unlocks the device; for a yearly license, the 12 months it added are removed.

4a. Partner program

Businesses can join the partner program at starplay.app/partners. A partner buys credits and uses them to activate devices of its customers (1 credit activates one device for one month; credits do not expire), can send its own playlists to those devices, and can pay monthly for its own look in the app (name, logo, background, colors and a support text), which is shown while it is paid. Partners are responsible for the playlists they deliver and for holding the rights to the content, names and images they use, and must give their customers the information required by law. The user of a device can always add or remove their own playlists. We may suspend a partner account that breaches these terms.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to infringe anyone’s rights, to access content without authorization, to attack or overload the Service, or to get around the trial or license. We may suspend a device or license that is used in breach of these terms, for example after a well-founded complaint by a rights holder.

6. Availability and warranty

We work to keep the Service available and working, but we do not guarantee that it is uninterrupted or that it works with every provider, playlist or stream — that depends on your provider. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect damages or for content provided by third parties. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

7. Privacy

How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the new version applies from the date shown above. These terms are governed by the law of the country where the operator is established, without affecting mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Questions: [email protected].
